Fat Panda
Fat Panda invites you into a peaceful bamboo forest, where a plump panda enjoys his tranquil surroundings. The reels feature gentle images inspired by traditional East Asian art, such as golden turtles, ancient coins, bonsai trees, and delicate lanterns. Warm colours and soft music combine to create a relaxed atmosphere, while the panda himself brings a playful touch with his cheerful expressions. Each spin brings new combinations of these charming symbols, allowing you to appreciate the detailed artwork and calm tone that makes Fat Panda a cheerful addition to a day of quiet fun.
Fat Panda Slot Overview
Fat Panda is an online slot game created by Pragmatic Play. Played across a 5-reel setup with 20 fixed paylines, it offers a range of features and modifiers on every spin. Bets can be placed from £0.20 up to a maximum of £4.00 per spin.
How to Play
All symbols pay from left to right, on adjacent reels beginning from the leftmost reel. Payouts occur only for combinations formed on the selected paylines. Only the highest win on each line is paid, and if wins occur on multiple paylines in a single spin, all are summed. Wins from free spins and bonus rounds are added to payline wins. Free spins winnings are paid after the round concludes, with the total for free spins shown in the round’s history. The return to player rate is displayed in-game.
Special Symbols
- Scatter Symbol: Can appear on any reel.
- Wild Symbol: Appears on all reels and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter.
Paylines
The slot offers 20 unique paylines which provide winning opportunities when symbols form specific combinations as indicated in the game's payline diagram.
Game Volatility
This slot is categorised as high volatility, meaning payouts may occur less frequently, but the potential for higher value wins is increased.
Top Reel Modifiers
Fat Panda features a horizontal top reel that sits above the main 5x3 grid. On each spin, this extra reel may land on a blank or trigger one of several modifiers:
- Add Wild: Adds one Wild symbol beneath the modifier if doing so creates a winning combination.
- Expand Wild: Turns the reel directly below into a full vertical Wild for the current spin, provided there is at least one Wild on that reel.
- Add Wild Multiplier: Adds a multiplier (ranging from 2x to 10x) to all Wild symbols on the reel beneath, applying to all winning combinations involving those Wilds.
- Add Multiplier to All Wilds: Adds a multiplier (2x to 10x) to every Wild symbol on the screen. If a Wild already has a multiplier, the values are multiplied together.
Free Spins Feature
- Land 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols to trigger 10, 12, or 15 free spins, respectively.
- The top reel modifiers remain active throughout the free spins round.
- All Wild symbols that land during free spins stay locked in place until the feature ends.
- If the relevant modifier appears, 2 to 10 additional free spins can be awarded during the free spins round.
- Special reels are used while free spins are active.
Maximum Win
The highest possible prize in Fat Panda is 20,000 times the total bet, applicable in both the base game and during free spins. If this limit is reached during free spins, the feature ends immediately and any remaining free spins are forfeited.
