Game Overview

Gigantoonz is an 8-reel cascading video slot developed by Play'n GO. The game is played on an 8x8 grid and offers dynamic cluster pays mechanics. Bets can be placed from a minimum of £0.20 to a maximum of £5.00 per spin.

How to Play

  • Form winning combinations by landing clusters of 6 or more adjacent symbols, either horizontally or vertically, without any gaps.
  • After a winning cluster is formed, those symbols are removed and new symbols fall into place. This cascading continues so long as new clusters are created.
  • Wins can start from any position on the grid. Only the highest win per cluster is awarded.
  • Cluster wins and any winnings from features or bonus rounds are added together at the end of each game round.
  • Free Spin features use the same bet amount as the triggering round. The bet cannot be adjusted during an active game round.

Special Symbols and Features

  • Mega Symbols: Symbols can appear in various mega sizes, ranging from 2x2 up to 7x7. Each mega symbol has a randomly determined cluster value up to 13, which affects payouts. Mega symbols count as one for cluster wins, but their cluster value sets the prize. When a mega symbol is part of a win, it leaves a WILD in its place. If the mega symbol cannot drop further, 1x1 versions without cluster values fill the remaining space.
  • Quantum Wilds: On non-winning spins, between 5 and 10 Quantum Wilds may appear randomly. Wilds replace any other symbol.
  • Gargantoon Wilds: These can be triggered through the Quantumeter feature.

The Quantumeter

Each winning symbol charges the Quantumeter by 1. Mega symbols contribute their cluster value toward the charge. The Quantumeter has four possible levels and can hold up to 100 charges:

  • 25 charges: Disintegration – Removes all instances of four randomly chosen symbols from the grid.
  • 50 charges: Metamorphosis – Randomly transforms all instances of one symbol type, including mega symbols, into another symbol.
  • 75 charges: Radiation – Randomly adds between 0 and 4 mega symbols and 2 to 5 Quantum Wilds to the grid.
  • 100 charges: Gargantoonz! – This feature consists of two steps:
    • All mega symbols transform into mega Gargantoonz, with at least three mega Gargantoonz appearing, plus 2 to 4 single 1x1 Gargantoonz. Mega Gargantoonz remain on the grid after wins, while 1x1 Gargantoonz are removed as usual.
    • Mega Gargantoonz then break apart into separate 1x1 Gargantoonz, which are removed through standard cascade mechanics if part of a win.

After each round of cascades, the next available charge feature will activate. Once all features have been used, the Quantumeter is inactive until charged again.

Game Controls

  • Adjusting Your Bet: Use the plus or minus buttons, or select a bet button at the bottom of the game, to set your wager. Bets can be changed before each round begins.
  • Paytable: Access the paytable to view all symbol payouts and feature information.
  • Starting a Game Round: Press the START button or use the spacebar to begin a round with your chosen bet.

Game Information and Fairness

Cluster wins and all feature payouts are calculated and settled at the end of each completed round. The return to player (RTP) information is displayed within the game.

Unfinished Games and Malfunctions

If a game round is interrupted, all relevant information and bets are saved until you resume play. You can continue any unfinished round from where it stopped. Bets that remain undecided in incomplete games will become void after 90 days. In the event of a malfunction, all bets and payouts are voided.
